State fire investigators throughout the State comprise this highly skilled team driven to find the origin and cause of all fatal fires and fires involving large losses in the State. Personnel on this team are selected by the DE State Fire Marshal and have extensive experience in the investigation of fires and explosions. The MIRT members dedicate many of their off hours to responding to and solving complex investigations.
